Paramount Mtn: Josh Allen, Peppa Pig Nail Beavis Between the Uprights

Check out Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen & Peppa Pig nail Beavis (Beavis and Butt-head) between the uprights in a visit to Paramount Mountain.

Article Summary

  • Josh Allen and Peppa Pig feature in Paramount Mountain campaign for Super Bowl LVIII.
  • Paramount+ ad includes Beavis from Beavis & Butt-head and NFL on CBS celebrities.
  • CBS hosts weeklong Super Bowl LVIII coverage at The Fountains of Bellagio in Vegas.
  • Multiple CBS shows, including The Talk and CBS Mornings, to broadcast live for Super Bowl.

With the NFL playoffs underway, we're getting closer and closer to Super Bowl LVIII – set to air on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on February 11th. What that also means is that we're getting a chance to check out the folks on Paramount Mountain – part of the Paramount+ "A Mountain of Entertainment" campaign. For those of you who are new, this is the same campaign that offered us an early look at Anson Mount's Pike and Ethan Peck's Spock from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. With the first of two full ads debuting last weekend (and the second set for Super Bowl LVIII), we're being treated to a quick look at Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen showing Peppa Pig how he keeps his throwing arm warmed up – much to the serious dismay of Beavis (of Beavis and Butt-head fame, with the latter offering his partner in crime all of the support that you would expect).

Created by Droga5, the spot that aired during the NFL on CBS Wild Card Game last Sunday (Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills) saw Decepticon Scourge (voiced by Peter Dinklage, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) talking trash to Allen – until he realizes that his throwing arm isn't quite the "canon" he was hoping for. We won't spoil the rest of it for you, but we do get to see Dora (Dora the Explorer), Peppa Pig, and NFL on CBS announcers Tracy Wolfson, Jim Nantz & Tony Romo deal with Scourge's pretty lousy "play-calling." Without saying too much? We're not a big fan of the way Scourge intimidated Peppa – just sayin'…
