SNL Promos: Sarah Sherman Suffers From "Domingo Stockholm Syndrome"
SNL star Sarah Sherman joined this weekend's host, Colman Domingo, and musical guest Anitta, for Thursday's Studio 8H promos. Here's a look!
With NBC's Saturday Night Live returning this weekend with host Colman Domingo (Euphoria, Fear the Walking Dead) and musical guest Anitta, Thursdays saw SNL star Sarah Sherman joining Domingo and Anitta for this week's round of Studio 8H promos. First up, Domingo won't allow Sherman's "Duolingo" joke to go unchecked – he just can't. Following that, Sherman reveals that she's suffering from "Domingo Stockholm Syndrome" (to little sympathy). Then it seems Sherman has an ulterior motive behind the advice she gives Domingo about being a first-time host. Finally, Domingo wants a chance to try a couple of different takes on the last one – while Sherman's ready to wrap.

Here's a look at Domingo, Anitta, and Sherman during today's SNL Studio 8H promos, followed by a look at what went down earlier this week:
And don't forget that SNL released the lineup for its final three shows. On May 2nd, Olivia Rodrigo serves as host and musical guest. On May 9th, Matt Damon will host, with Noah Kahan as the musical guest. Finally, SNL Season 51 wraps on May 16th with host Will Ferrell and musical guest Paul McCartney. Now, here's a look back at Domingo and the SNL cast during Wednesday night's read-thru, followed by the SNL Midweek sketch with Veronika Slowikowska and Kam Patterson:
SNL Season 51: Jack Black/Jack White "Cut For Time" Sketches
Just when you thought that this past weekend's edition of NBC's Saturday Night Live, with host Jack Black and musical guest Jack White, was jam-packed with sketches and musical performances, SNL is showing us just some of what didn't make the cut. In "Chili's Waitress," a couple (Mikey Day and Sarah Sherman) celebrates their anniversary on a romantic date at Chili's. While Black and Marcello Hernandez deliver, this sketch is all about Veronika Slowikowska. In "CPAP Commercial," a commercial offers testimonials for a new kind of CPAP machine. Interestingly, if this had made the final cut, it would've been the second time in one show that Sarah Sherman would've sported inflatable "breasts."

In "Weekend Update: A Guy and His Girlfriend Who's Always Cold on Dating App Fatigue," Day and Chloe Fineman discuss dating app fatigue – and yes, that's Day sporting a Scarlett Johansson tattoo (getting a great reaction from Colin Jost). Finally, "Simon's Life" introduces us to Martin Herlihy's cousin Simon, who has trouble making new friends. Black and Andrew Dismukes stand out… for reasons we didn't see coming. Here's a look at the four sketches that would've also been nice to see during the show:
