After a week off, NBC's Saturday Night Live returned this past weekend with host Timothée Chalamet (Wonka) and musical guest boygenius (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus) – and it was a serious amount of fun. Between the fourth-wall-breaking cold open to the SNL cast, Chalamet & boygenius taking their well-deserved final bows once 1 am ET hit, there was a whole lot to like about what went down. SNL is executive-produced by Lorne Michaels, with Liz Patrick directing and SNL alum Darrell Hammond announcing. Broadcasting from Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center, the long-running late-night sketch comedy/music series is produced by SNL Studios in association with Universal Television and Broadway Video.
