Voltron Legendary Defender Season 5: First Official Trailer Released

Dreamworks' reboot of the classic Voltron series returns with a fifth season on Netflix next month, and the first official trailer has been released. Team Voltron may have a new ally against the Galra Empire, as talks of an alliance with Prince Lotor, their enemy of the past few seasons begin. The enemy of my enemy. Season four of the animated series ended with Lotor coming to Voltron's aid as they battled against the evil witch Haggar. Lotor told the Paladins that they needed to talk. Looks like the new season has them teaming up, but the Paladins aren't sure they can trust Lotor. I'm going to go with, "no."

Though suspicious, Team Voltron is able to liberate more rebels with the aid of Lotor's intel. Just as things start to look hopeful, Zarkon strikes, resulting in a shocking chain of events.
