What If…? Season 3 Preview: Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian On The Run

A road stop goes south for Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier) & Red Guardian in a preview for Marvel Studios & Disney+'s What If...? Season 3.

With the second season of Marvel Studios & Disney+'s What If…? wrapping up its multiverse-shattering second season run today with "What If… Strange Supreme Intervened?" (no spoilers!), the studio & streamer wanted to make sure that there was more of the animated anthology series on the way. In the following clip from the third season (good luck pinpointing that down to a specific date at this point), Buckey Barnes (aka, The Winter Soldier) and the Red Guardian have hit the road – but let's just say that Bucky isn't feeling too thrilled to be going on a road trip. His mood gets a lot more volatile after a traffic stop goes really, really bad – and what follows can best be described as a cross between "Smokey & The Bandit" and "The Terminator."
