Queen Calls For Gay Superteam, Spandex. Yes, I Know, I Know.

Six months ago, Bleeding Cool covered the small press gay superteam comic Spandex, and the resultant international media press it got as a result of well, basically, existing.

So what do they do for their difficult second issue, to try and recapture some of that massive media outpouring? Why, bring in royalty of course.

Because when the Queen herself gets burgled, the palace has no choice but to call in Britain's number one gay superteam, Spandex, who have to travel from Brighton to Japan to recover the crown jewels. And what hilriously-named foes will they have to face on their journey? Why it's the Pink Ninjas, Gayzilla – and they recruit a new team member, Neon. A gay flourescent ninja. Or course he is.

No news as to whether Prince Edward will be invited along.

Oh and issue two will feature actual sex scenes as well. So.. you know. Here's a SFW glimpse at the second issue, launching at next weekend's Bristol Comic Con, with free Pink Ninja badges with every physical purchase.

Oh and issue three? Zombies. Possibly gay zombies…
