Adam McKay May Have More Marvel In His Future
When Edgar Wright left Ant-Man, the first name that became involved with Adam McKay (Anchorman). He didn't end up directing the film, but he and star Paul Rudd did a writing pass over the script. Now the writer/director is in talks to possibly handle other characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe…
I just did a big rewrite on Ant-Man with Paul Rudd and had such a great time working with them that we're kicking around ideas. But yeah, maybe I would take on one of the characters so we haven't locked in anything, but discussions are definitely going on.
The majority of McKay's work until now has been comedy… and a lot with Will Ferrell. It will be very interesting to see what he and Rudd working together did for the Ant-Man movie.
