When Will DC Comics' Batman-Centric Summer 2017 Event Begin?

greg-capullo-batmanYou may see a number of websites running articles headlined "When Is Walking Dead On Tonight" or "When Will Gme Of Thrones Season 7 Begin?" They are there not to serve the site's audience but bring in traffic from search engines for people asking those very questions.

Well, Bleeding Cool hasn't done that – mostly because we haven't thought of it. In fact, I am suddenly quite taken by the idea.

But not this article. This is genuinely answering the question with previously unknown information.

Earlier this week, we noted Greg Capullo's signing of a brand new contract at DC Comics, as he returns from his series Reborn with Mark Millar over at Image Comics (currently into its fourth printings). As well as a run on All-Star Batman with old partner Scott Snyder we know they are also working on a Summer Event for DC Comics for 2017.

But what does "summer" mean? for some it's June, for some July, but for DC Comics, expect it to kick off in August.

And while it may be centred around Batman, expect it to spread across the rest of the DC Rebirthed line…

Get ready for Batmania again.
