Bored To Death is a new HBO comedy starting this weekend, based on a story by Jonathan Ames, and starring Jason Schwartzman as the writer, Ames. It also has one character that certain industry types may find familiar, a cartoonist played by Zach Galifianakis. He's based on ACT-I-VATE founder Dean Haspiel, who drew Ames' graphic novel The Alcoholic. I'll be ready with a torrent and a geek checklist come Monday…
