New Line Of Online DC Gambling Machines Debut

There's a new series of online gambling games licensed worldwide from DC by Irish company CryptoLogic. As their website says;

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman! CryptoLogic brings non-stop casino game action in one of their most anticipated branded games ever. The company's third release with DC Comics features 50 lines and an optional bonus bet plus a unique expanding wilds free game feature. Players who trigger the feature will earn a chance to save the world, maneuvering though meteor fields, destroying missiles and leaving their mark as the World's Greatest DC Super Hero.

This kind of thing always strikes me as a little weird, no? It's the strange crossover between characters designed to entertain children being used for purely adult pursuits. Especially when such activity is illegal in America full stop. And this is not restricted to DC, Marvel have a similar line, an aspect that has embarrassed Joe Quesada before.

One wonders what the new heads of DC Entertainment will make of this deal – fully behind such commercial exploitation, outraged as the morally dubious aspect or slighty unnerved but hoping no one important notices…
