The First Exclusive Toy Of C2E2

So exclusive, so highly collectable, there's only one of them! This is a lampost model provided by the city of Chicago to show how the banner advertising will appear for the upcoming comic convention show in the city centre.

No articulation sadly.

But it looks like the show is going to be big. Really big. The city has been pledging all kinds of support, clearly wanting to grab some of the kind of money that San Diego has been so fond of. Expect plenty of theming all over the city.

But what about the show itself? Well, programming is being released later this week. It's probably going to be quite comprehensive, but I have been told will be very concentrated on the comics side of a comic con, in stark contrast I suppose to Wizard's declaration that Comic Con has become a cover-all term for popular entertainment.

I'm told that Twilight fans will be well catered for – and that C2E2 seems to have learnt certain lessons from San Diego in how to please all parties. Expect to see ther solution very soon.

I can't go to C2E2 this year, but I do hope to be covering it as fully as I can – from 3980 miles away. So tell me if you're planning to go – and fancy reporting back for the Cool. There may be all sorts of… benefits.
