Celebrate C-Day At Your Local Comic Store On 14th March

Yesterday, chatting to William Christensen, he told me he was looking at artwork for Crossed Badlands #28. #28. Issue 1 isn't out yet.
On 14th March, Avatar are running C-Day, to promote the launch of Crossed: Badlands #1, a biweekly ongoing Crossed series, the first issue of which is on sale that day.
And Avatar are shipping out a bunch of point-of-sale items to turn as many stores as they can into a horrortorium. And are giving prizes for the most awesome and/or disgusting events and displays. Window displays, cosplay, end cap displays, mass POS item wearing by customers, whatever you need to do.
And there are prizes. First prize gets stores $450 worth of Crossed – a free Crossed Vol 1 HC signed by Ennis and sketched with unique original art from Jacen Burrows, Crossed Vol 2 HC, Crossed Vol 3 HC, Crossed 3D HC, a Crossed Get Infected Retailer Only Variant, and a set of Crossed #0-9 Red Crossed Incentive cover comics (value $450). Second prize, $300 worth, a set of Crossed Vol 1, 2, 3, and 3D HCs, Crossed Get Infected Retailer Only Variant, and set of Crossed #0-9 Red Crossed Incentive cover comics (value $300) and third prize, $150 worth, of Crossed Get Infected Retailer Only Variant, Set of Crossed #0-9 Red Crossed Incentive cover Comics ($150).
Of course, you shouldn't just ask what your retailer can do for you on C-Day. You should ask what you can do for your retailer. So find that severed horse's penis and turn up for a photo opportunity.
14th March. Time to get your Crossed on.
Retailers can contact Keith Davidsen, Avatar's Director of Sales and Marketing, at keith@avatarpress.net to have your store promoted as a C-Day Survival HQ. Participating stores will be announced on Bleeding Cool so readers know where to go for the best in C-Day festivities.
