Toy Fair 2015: Lego Says 'If It Wasn't For Those Meddling Kids…'
By Brian Goldberg
Many of the hot items Lego had on display during Toy Fair were their licensed properties. One of their newest suite of products must have come straight from the classic Hanna-Barbera Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! animation cels. This line in particular combines Fred, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Scooby with the defunct Monster Fighters line. Each detailed set released will feature the mystery solving pup with a different facial expression. The villains have two faces to allow brickplay to properly allow the mystery to be solved!

In conjunction with the Marvel film release, Ant-Man will be getting a corresponding brick set. The giant ant's wings flap and are one of the many sets to feature the new Super Jumper brick accessory. This feature will be fun for little kids who want to make their mini figures fly across the room.
The Marvel sets do not stop with little old Hank Pym. The Avengers and Spider-Man will be getting some new sets too. I know I'll be buying the Carnage's Shield Sky Attack set as soon as it comes out. Miles Morales and Carnage are must have mini figures to complete my collection.
DC is coming back swinging at Marvel sets with the release of Jokerland! This 1,037 piece set will retail for a mere $119.99 and is worth every penny. The set has lots of motion and won't just sit on the shelf after you build it. This is designed to be played with. Harley rides a bicycle on a tightrope, the Batmobile zips into action, the ducky ferris wheel spins around, and with some wishful makebelieve Robin can shoot from a cannon. Yes, Batman has the Super Jumper feature too. Also notable from this set, the eight minifigures from this set feature the first Teen Titans release with Starfire and Beast Boy.
If you're building a Titans family, you may want to check out The Batboat Harbor Pursuit. Deathstroke is finally getting a minifigure. Will Terra be far behind?
I think every fan needs some more Chris Pratt mini figures in their life. The new Jurassic World line will include six sets featuring brick dinosaurs and movie characters.
There is still a mystery that not even Scooby could solve. Two more blind bag minifigure sets will be released in 2015. Series 14 aka Simpsons Series 2 and Series 15 aka Halloween Series 1 will be out later this year. Mum's the word on which figures will be included in the assortments. Get ready to start feeling up those bags folks!
