Will There Be A Better Secret Wars Parody Than Jonathan Hickman's Own?

Yesterday, Marvel announced a new comic, Secret Wars Too with Jonathan Hickman and friends doing comedy takes on the Secret Wars concept.

But might it have competition?

Everything Is Illuminated And Then It Dies is a comic parody that runs on 4chan/co that takes comics and totally reletters them. Sometimes the humour is perfect, sometimes, it's lazy, sometimes it doesn't work. But the Illuminated Comics tumblr recently switched to condensing them more and, by picking and choosing moments, becoming faster, funnier and cleverer. Specifically the Jonathan Hickman Avengers/New Avengers comics that led up to Secret Wars, in ten pages.

It is hilarious. from the series obsession with charts, to the difference in power bases…

Or some of the morally relativist choices made within the series.
 And certain reverses of fortune and positions among the members.

Or possibly the most accurate summation of the Ultimate Universe to date.

They are waiting until after Secret Wars has finished to give that a monstering, hopefully they'll go for the condensed approach, but we did get a tease…

Can't wait… something tells me that Hickman, a well rounded individual, may be reading along, smiling to himself. You can read more here, I'd ignore the Captain Marvel stuff if I were you, but the Hickman Avengers? Pure gold.
