SEGA Finally Announced The 'Sonic Mania' Vinyl Album In America
After spending several days announcing it on social media in multiple countries, SEGA finally announced the soundtrack for Sonic Mania will be released in late July on Data Discs. The label put out this official tweet a few days ago showing off the album's look and vinyl design in Sonic blue.
Being released in time for the game's 26th anniversary, the soundtrack to Sonic Mania will feature music from every zone as well as some bonus content. SEGA announced that it would be "featuring select tracks by Sonic Mania composer Tee Lopes, as well as exclusive new gatefold art featuring Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles exploring the lush vistas of Green Hill Zone Act 2, the Vinyl album is a must-have for any fan or Sonic music aficionado, and a gorgeous addition to any Sonic collection. The Vinyl will be available in three variations: Sonic Blue, Classic Black and a Limited Edition version."
I'm a little intrigued as to what a Limited Edition would look like for the soundtrack. Hopefully we'll get our own copy for review, but if not, that is still awesome news for Sonic fans to have their own copy of the music. You can pre-order the album right now.
