New 'Coco' Trailer Gives Us A Better Idea Of The Film's Plot
We have a new trailer for the upcoming Pixar movie Coco, and it just looks fantastic. It's a longer trailer, over two minutes, and it also gives us a good idea of what the plot is going to be. We also get an idea of what the stakes are going to be concerning Miguel and his trip to the Land of the Dead.
This movie looks really cute, and visually, it looks like nothing we've ever seen before. It's likely going to get compared to the equally fantastic The Book of Life, but they appear to be two very different movies. That's a good thing, because there is plenty of material here for multiple stories about the Mexican Day of the Dead.
Summary: Despite his family's baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history.
Coco, directed by Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina, stars Anthony Gonzalez, Gael García Bernal, Alanna Ubach, Benjamin Bratt, and Alanna Ubach. It will be released on November 22nd.
