DC Comics Cancels Doom Patrol #12 Orders, Delays It Until at Least April

Doom Patrol, the DC/Young Animal comic book by Gerard Way and Nick Derington is a but of a Schroedinger's comic, that both exists and does not exist. It is certainly published, but every time you look at the schedules it seems to have disappeared.

Back in March 2017, with the comic book getting later and later, DC Comics cancelled orders for issues 6-9. They were then resolicited later in the year. But they still didn't make those dates and were still late.

So even though it has been solicited as an ongoing monthly title, and the first issue came out in September 2016, Doom Patrol #10 which was eventually solicited for October 2017, will now be out next Wednesday, a further three months late, #11 solicited for November will be out on March 4th, four months late and Doom Patrol #12, solicited for December has now been cancelled and retailer orders have been made null and void. It will be resolicited at some point, but the earliest date will be April. And maybe not even then.
