Arrow Season 6: Cast Talks About the Upcoming Trial of Oliver Queen
With the big Oliver Queen trial coming up this week on Arrow, fans are trying to figure out exactly what is going to happen and what the clues mean. Spoilers ahead!
The preview trailer shows Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell) dropping into the courtroom dressed as the Green Arrow. We also know that the season finale is called 'Life Sentence', leading a lot of people — myself included — to speculate that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will start season 7 in prison. But we shouldn't get too far ahead, as some of the cast have talked with TVLine about the upcoming trial.
Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity Smoak, said:
Oliver's confidence level is pretty high, based off a plan that has been hatched. There are definitely a couple of Plan Bs in place that are about to explode….
Echo Kellum, who plays Curtis Holt, added:
You definitely see Diaz putting his finger on the scale in some ways, and you see us pushing back in some ways.
Juliana Harkavy, who plays Dinah Drake, talks about there being some curve balls thrown in from the witness stand.
Katie Cassidy talks about the wildcard that is Laurel Lance:
There are going to be a lot of questions hanging, lingering… We never know what she's going to do, and that's fun. I love her candor.
And David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle, talks about his connection to Oliver.
As much as Oliver and I fight, I still love him, he still loves me. So I'm trying to find a way to get him out of this damn thing!
More teases than any real information, but it looks like it's going to be fun — and it may be the first time that the entire cast is on set at one time.
Arrow airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
