Marvel Comics Add 8 More Covers and Backerboards to Fantastic Four #1

Marvel Comics has moved the Final Order Cut-Off Date for the new Fantastic Four #1 to a later date, though the comic will still be published on the 8th August. This will allow retailers more time to increase – or decrease – orders.

This is what Marvel is doing to try and persuade retailers to increase this numbers this week…

They have moved the qualifying percentage for major retailer discounts from 300% of Avengers #3 to 275% of Avengers #3.
They have qualifying percentage to be part of the Fantastic Four #1 Party Launch from 300% of Avengers #3 to 275% of Avengers #3.
They are encouraging participation in a Fantastic Four #1 Party Launch with a free bundle of Fantastic Four #1 Party Invite postcards to participating stores.
A free a bundle of FF Pins, 1.5" x 2" pins with classic art by John Romita Sr to participating stores.
A free bundle of Backing Boards, to participating stores.
Retailers will receive a Fantastic Four #1 window cling by Esad Ribic.
They are running an Extended Billing promotion to delay FF #1 half of the payments due a month late, to those who order 275% of their Avengers #3 numbers.
And then adding to their already solicited seventeen covers… another eight.
