Wade Wilson Gets Hard Boiled in Next Week's Deadpool #9

You may notice a slightly different tone when you open up and start reading next week's Deadpool #9. Instead of the fourth-wall-breaking slapstick humor the Merc with a Mouth is known for, the book has taken a decidedly noir turn. It's only been 9 issues. Is it really time for a reboot already?

Well, maybe not all is as it seems. You see, Deadpool is teaming up with Jessica Jones in this issue, so it's when he visits the offices of Alias Investigations that the mood to channel his inner Philip Marlowe strikes him. But as for Jessica, well, she's not into this nonsense at all.

As it turns out, someone has stolen Deadpool's heart. Literally. And he wants Jessica to help him get it back. Hilarity, no doubt, ensues.
