A Fan-Favorite 90s Story Returns in Venom #23 [Preview]
Venom #23 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by the self-proclaimed Bad Boy of Comics Donny Cates and Mark Bagley, as the repercussions of the Absolute Carnage super-mega-crossover event continue to send shockwaves throughout the Venom universe or something. Venom Island shares a lot in common with every super-mega-crossover event as it too promises to change Venom forever.
But instead of going back to 1993 to rehash the Maximum Carnage super-mega-crossover event, Venom Island shocked the world last issue by revisiting plots from 1994.
But this time, it's the Distinguished Competition's old story which is new again, as Venom has lost his left hand!
Well, technically he cut it off himself rather than having it eaten by piranhas… but basically, the same thing.
Now Eddie must cauterize the wound or he may have nothing left to attach a hook to.
Once that's done, there's only one thing left to do…
…you gotta grow that hair out, Eddie.
Venom #23 hits stores on Wednesday.
