"A Gun-Toting Whirlwind" Black Jack Ketchum TP Is Coming This Summer
Image Comics has exciting Summer news for us as their series Black Jack Ketchum is releasing it's first trade-paperback. From the creative team of writer Brian Schirmer and artist Claudia Balboni comes a weird western tale that follows Tom Ketchum in a dreamlike version of the Old West. As he struggles to clear his name, and stay alive, he's mistaken for wanton outlaw "Black Jack" Ketchum. With the aid of his talking sidearm, a secretive gambler, and a mute girl with a Winchester, Tom evades the mysterious Union and its supernatural enforcers, the faceless Dusters.
Writer of Wayward, Jim Zub commented on the series by calling it a
"'gun-toting whirlwind, a wilder' west if you will."
I think it's safe to say we are all excited to see where the series goes. Image Comics first TP's always come at a reasonable $9.99 price, so if you haven't had a chance to read the series yet, this June is an excellent time to jump on board. The Black Jack Ketchum TP will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, June 8 and bookstores on Tuesday, June 14.
