An Evening With Alan Moore At The Prince Charles Cinema, Leicester Square
I've never been so happy to be a lifetime member of the Prince Charles Cinema. It means I have my ticket reserved for this, on Tuesday 26th November…
The Prince Charles Cinema and Aurum Press present – Magic Words: An Evening with Alan Moore: The world's most famous comics writer and co-creator of works such as V for Vendetta, Watchmen, From Hell, Lost Girls, A Small Killing and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen will appear in conversation with his biographer, Lance Parkin, to ponder comics, magic, film, politics and why Northampton is the centre of the universe. Staged to celebrate the publication of Magic Words: The Extraordinary Life of Alan Moore, the evening will include 70 minutes of Q&A, the screening of Alan Moore and Mitch Jenkins' short films Act of Faith and Jimmy's End, some special guests, and a post-show book signing. – Please note: Alan and Lance will only be signing selected works for sale on the night. We regret to inform those intent on getting their entire comics collections autographed that they will leave disappointed.
