Previously, Bleeding Cool had noted an absence oif Batman from DC Comics' Free Comic Book Day offerings for 2026… and now we know why. Free Comic Book Day is on Saturday, the 2nd of May 2026. As is Comics Giveaway Day. I know, I know. We thought we knew all the free comic books that were coming, but a new one has entered the fray: the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Comic Book Tie-In. No details on content or creators, but the skyline of the retired 76271 Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City can be found in the background.
