The Big Change It Doesn't Look Like Secret Empire #10 Is Reversing (SPOILERS)

Bleeding Cool had an entertaining time doing that Daily Show trick of taking something someone once said, contrasting it with what they say now, and then looking quizzically at the camera,m with one finger raised and place over the centre of a pouty mouth. In this case, this meant Secret Empire #10 and the use of a certain cosmic cube in making everything all happy again.

Were we unfair? Possibly. It centres on a very specific reading of the comments made by Tom Brevoort and Nick Spencer. It's not big magic reset button. The events still occurred. Las Vegas was destroyed (though it is also possible that Ben Reilly: Scarlet Spider will be reversing all that on their own) and people who have been killed off, remain killed off. Well, most of them. Well, one of them.

Because it appears, and again I am going by what I am told by wider, better placed, spoilier heads than mine… that this won't be reversed.

Black Widow is still dead, at Captain America's hands.

And if Hank Pym striking Janet Van Dyne haunted the character the rest of his fictional history, will Captain America being reversed to a previous save point, be enough to redeem the character?
