All The Big Secrets From The ECCC 2017 Diamond Comic Book Retailer Lunch

For the first time in several years, Bleeding Cool representatives weren't allowed access to the Diamond Retailer Lunch at ECCC this year. What secret could have been revealed? What project couldn't risk being leaked out? What was locked down?

Well, whatever was planned didn't come to fruition. A retailer tells us,

So today we heard the Boom! Studios returnable jazz again, more about how Diamond is improving distribution, some details from Valiant on X-O Manowar marketing including their co-promotion of the Warped tour (which we hope to be part of). DC gave us peek at the Jim Lee Wonder Woman Taz cover he is doing, just killer, and the Super Bugs Legion of Super-Heroes cover. Honestly I was hoping for more news, but everyone just regurgitated their Comics PRO presentation. 

So there you go. A rather moist squib? Though we did get the figure that DC Comics had sold 23,300,000 Rebirth comics since June… and they did get some of these extra-exclusive retailer variant comics…
