Chris Baker, Matt Fitch and J Francis Totti Stake Their Claim With 'Our Land' Webcomic
Apollo authors Chris Baker and Matt Fitch write for Bleeding Cool about their webcomic, Our Land.
Why a webcomic? The simple answer: No one wanted to print it.

Our Land originally started out as a 4-page short that hit the cutting room floor back when Dead Canary Comics were putting together the Adventures in Science anthology, so it's fitting that the webcomic sees us return to the DCC fold. They saw the potential in the story and are kindly sponsoring the project and taking care of the cheques after the expensive lunches in the cigar smoke filled clubs.
But of course, it's not just us. The weight of bringing this webcomic to you on a bi-weekly basis lies mostly on the shoulders of our artist, J Francis Totti. Joe, as his friends call him, is an incredible talent and has proven his skill time and time again. The work he is doing right now necessitates your full attention and we can confidently say you're all in for an epic ride.
There will be an announcement about Thought Bubble coming soon, tied directly to this webcomic, and we are very excited about that, but for now all that's left to say is that we dedicate this story to the reflection of Angus Mayer and hope the singers out there get what we are trying to do.
Our Land is available to read for free at ourlandcomic.com, with new pages uploaded every Wednesday and Friday. The first five pages are up and the story begins here…
