From the Smallville episode Warrior from 2010 (the one with Zatanna and a comic convention):

Clark Kent : Lois, why are you in the men's bathroom?
Lois Lane : You obviously haven't seen the line for the women's room.

And now from Superman '78: The Metal Curtain #3 published today by DC Comics.

Well, she is an investigative journalist. And not exactly one to stand on ceremony. And it was, of course, a different time for both Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Literally. 1978, it's in the title and everything, and on the price point of the Daily Planet.

A quarter for the Daily Planet? Yup, just checked, that's about what they cost then. The Superman comic book cost 50 cents back then. I just checked and a print copy of the New York Times is four bucks now. And so is Superman '78 #3. Say, maybe inflation hasn't been too bad for comic books in comparison after all?

These days, Lois Lane is Editor-In-Chief of the Daily Planet and has probably installed gender neutral toilets at the newspaper. She'd never want to keep the conversation from… flowing. Superman '78: The Metal Curtain #3 by Robert Venditti and Gavin Guidry is published today.
