It Takes a Whole Comic Store to Bring Up a Robin
Ben Giroux is the new voice of Robin, Damian Wayne, in the new Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. He has previously voiced roles in in Nickelodeon's Bunsen is a Beast, Loud House, The Adventures of Kid Danger, and Amazon's Rocky and Bullwinkle.
He grew up Phoenix, spending time in the comic store owned by his parents, Alan and Marsha Giroux, All About Books and Comics, at Central Avenue and Camelback Road, a comic store still going strong and still run by his folks.
Decades later he playing Robin. And his folks wanted everyone to know it…
He told the Arizona Republic that "It's cool in this day and age to see a store with tangible reading material still going strong. So many former employees and customers talk to me about my parents like they're their parents. … My dad always says 'it's like 'Cheers' but without the alcohol.'"
