Dave Elliott IS Bringing Back Atomeka

Earlier last week we saw some images of Dave Elliott's future plans for comics, from both Heavy Metal and a new Monster Massacre volume. For a man known for working for a number of prominent comics publishers, some wondered if it could be a blast from the past, of the days of A1…

When asked on the Bleeding Cool forums, he replied;

The MONSTER MASSACRE collection will be out under ATOMEKA. I'm not planning on reprinting anything from back then and all the old A1 material was all owned and controlled by the creators. That's why Garry and myself did it in the first place, Back then creator driven and owned material was a little thin on the ground, especially in the UK so we only took one printing rights on everything.

The Monster Massacre collection this October will be a hardback containing the two Heavy Metal issues I'll have put together by then. The September issue of HM from last year I did with Imaginary Friends Studio and the Monster Massacre September issue this year with a couple of new pieces in for good measure.

Will there be more Atomeka projects? I certainly hope so and if the stars align properly either a monthly Monster Massacre or A1 will be launched before the year is out.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.
