DC is Putting Politics in Your Batgirl Comics in January… Literally
DC Comics is taking the whole secret industry conspiracy to inject politics into all your favorite comic books to a level not seen since Prez was on the stands. In Batgirl #30 and 31, revealed in the DC Comics January solicits, Barbara Gordon joins a political campaign for "up-and-coming reformer candidate who wants to take on the GCPD." But in doing so, it puts Barbara at odds with her own father, Commissioner Gordon, one generation against another.
It's metaphorical politics. It's literal politics. And some superhero punchy kicky as well. What more could you ask for?
