Editor Jim Gibbons Completes His Last Day At Dark Horse
There have been many shifts announced at Dark Horse of late, starting off with Editor Brendan Wright's decision to go freelance (while still editing in that capacity for Dark Horse) at the beginning of the month, and then the news that Dave Marshall had been promoted to the position of EIC from Senior Editor and that Scott Allie had transitioned to the position of Executive Senior Editor last Friday, a move which Allie commented on today here on Bleeding Cool in an extensive interview.
This evening on Twitter, Editor Jim Gibbons, who was promoted into that role last Spring, officially let the public know that he'd completed his last day of work at Dark Horse. His tweets suggested that people closer to Gibbons in his professional life had already been notified, and he gave strong hints that he'd be making announcements soon about his future plans.
Gibbons posted a photo of stacks of comics and graphic novels that he's worked on in his time at Dark Horse, and they are a great testament to his achievements. There's no doubt he will be missed but we wish him the best of luck in his new ventures.
Jim's credits include The Massive, Captain Midnight, Brain Boy, Action Philosophers, Sin Titulo, The Strain, and many more.
