Francis Manapul's Harley Quinn Variant And An Update On The Comic Mint
Back in December, Rich did an interview with Steve Finkel, the man behind Comic Mint. A new website designed as a commission free comic marketplace. Steve dropped us a line to let us know what the site has been up to since the interview as well as a new variant cover and special they have going on.
According to Steve, the Comic Mint is focusing solely on comic books and will have a third version of the site out shortly with eBay and Amazon integration. They have also integrated shipping solutions and require items be sent priority with insurance. Their commission rate and insertion fees are zero and they will be recruiting large sellers and expect the number of listings to grow tremendously through the second half of the year.
Now, to help support the free trading environment, the site is selling what they are calling Comic Mint Boxes. These boxes include 10 books of a particular theme selected by the users. They will also be including their Harley Quinn #1 exclusive variant drawn by Francis Manapul. There is also a black & white version and graded copies sold separately.
