Batman: Last Night on Earth may be the last Batman story by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, but that doesn't mean this dynamic duo are done working together. Capullo took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that he has re-upped his EX-X-XCLUSIVE contract with DC Comics. And it looks like he's already got big plans, as he announced he'll be working with Snyder on the pair's "biggest adventure yet."
We know that DC's Year of the Villain is leading toward an even bigger event in 2020. What could be bigger than acetate covers? Maybe a line-wide DC Crisis event with Snyder and Capullo involved? Or maybe Dark Nights: Metal 2? Or are they the same thing?
We may learn more about that at New York Comic Con this Fall, but for now, fans can be content to know that that artist and writer who go together like peanut butter and jelly will continue to work together for the foreseeable future. Until then, there's still plenty of time to catch up on the first two issues of Batman: Last Night on Earth.
