Harley Quinn Calls Out Joseph Linsner For Going Off Script

The last time I remember this happening was in Deadpool. When the artist drew a big figure of Deadpool wrapped around the rest of the art without, it seems, being in the script. So, because it was Deadpool, the writer Christopher Priest, rewrote the script to have Deadpool talking about the writer having to rewrite the script to accommodate the artists'whims.

It must happen all the time. It's just not often the lead character is asked to comment on it.

Like in today's Harley Quinn. Where the artist Joseph Michael Linsner, it seems, went a little tree happy. And Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner weren't going to let him get away with it.

That's the danger of working with characters who break the fourth wall. Sometimes they go for the creators' necks…
