Martian Manhunter and Lex Luthor Team Up in This Week's Justice League #17
We're learning a lot about Martian Manhunter in recent issues of Justice League. Last issue, Justice League #16, showed us just how much J'onn has in common with Marvel Chairman Ike Perlmutter (both have had their DNA stolen), but perhaps the most unsavory connection he'll be forming happens in this week's Justice League #17. It all goes down in this preview of Wednesday's issue:
It's seems even J'onn realizes what an awful idea this is, and how his colleagues may view his decision to work with one of DC Comics' biggest villains:
Well, he has his reasons. They'll understand… right?
DC media partner CBR had the EX-X-XCLUSIVE preview of this issue, which we've stolen, and they've plastered their watermarks all over the pages… which is something Lex would probably do, now that we think about it. Justice League #17 hits stores on Wednesday.
Justice League #17
(W) Scott Snyder (A) Mark Morales (A/CA) Jim Cheung
After the disastrous events of the Justice League Annual, Martian Manhunter decides to take matters into his own hands and negotiate a peace with Legion of Doom leader Lex Luthor. Traveling to a distant moon, the two enemies face their intertwined pasts in a showdown for the fate of the Multiverse. However, before either of them can lay claim to the power of the Source Wall once and for all, an unexpected threat forces them to unite…or risk death at the ends of the cosmos.
