Reaction to the official news (a year after it was unofficially reported) that Marvel would be taking the Star Wars comics licence, has been wide and varied. But here are some responses from people more closely attached.

First on Facebook, Lucy Autrey Wilson, formerly of LucasFilm, posted

Lucy Autrey Wilson Taking the license away from Marvel and giving it to Dark Horse was one of my best publishing moves. This is too bad! Glad I'm not there anymore.

And Brian Wood tweets,
