The current run of Captain Marvel at Marvel Comics comes to an end after almost five years with a double-sized Captain Marvel #50 in June. Written by Kelly Thompson, the series was relaunched alongside the release of the first Captain Marvel movie. With the second movie out later this year, The Marvels, look for a relaunch with a new creative team to be timed alongside the release of that film, currently scheduled for the 10th of November 2023.
