Marvel Comics Announces New Doctor Aphra #1 by Alyssa Wong and Marika Cresta at MCM London

Lots of big news announced by David Gabriel of Marvel Comics at London MCM Comic Con 2019's October show, straight from the Diamond retailer meeting. Follow along with our MCMLondon tag for this and many other new stories being announced today.

And here we have the launch of a new Star Wars: Doctor Aphra series, featuring the character co-created by Kieron Gillen in Marvel's Darth Vader series, the archaeologist who plays Empire against Rebellion and vice versa, and has escaped from the comics to the games… and who knows where else. Written by Alyssa Wong, drawn by Marika Cresta, with covers from Valentina Ramener, the first issue will be out in April.
