Monstress And Tokyo Ghost Top Advance Reorders As DC And Marvel Take A Christmas Break
Greetings from the coal face of the direct comics market. Where retailers try to increase their orders of certain comics ahead of sale. Where supply and demand and most accurately reflected, where you can see which books are hot, where new orders are coming in and how retailers are reacting to new, unanticipated desire!
Image Comics has made Monstress #3 returnable to stores if they order enough. So, buoyed by sales of the first two issues, they are ordering enough! And their Image Comics stablemate Tokyo Ghost #5 is putting ob interest as well. And there's also a very strong performance from the less obvious Jim Henson's Storyteller: Dragons #2…. with the return of Nowhere Men, a new Adventure Time, Judge Dredd, Dragon Age and I Hate Fairyland, there's also a relative absence of Marvel and DC on the advance reorders this week….
