My Little Pony/Transformers – Thank FOC It's Saturday
Welcome to Thank FOC It's Friday (mostly) every Friday – now on a Saturday – and planned to coincide and cover the demands of Final Order Cut Off at Diamond Comic Distributors. And now UCS and Lunar as well. Of course, in these times, so much of this is up in the air. There's a lot of product coming through that needs adjusting. Because this represents the comic book industry returning to comic book stores en masse,
Traditionally FOC is the date when retailers have a last chance to amend their advance orders for comic books without penalty. A final chance for publishers to promote books while orders can still be added. A time for credits to be amends, new covers to be revealed and a final push given. This is an attempt to sift through them all and find the most relevant items.
So what's FOC'ing today? My Little Pony/Transformers?
- The My Little Pony/Transformers crossover is launching and back on FOC with 1:10 and 1:25 variant – but you have to order 25 copies of all four issues to get that, so it's more of a 1:100 variant.
- Canto is publishing a one-shot, Canto & Clockwork Fairies, with a 1:10 and 1:25 variant,
- We're also getting a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2020 Annual which has squeaked in to this year.
- There are Image Comics launches for Bliss #1 and Chu #1.
- How did Decorum #2 do? #1 is up.
- Amazing Spider-Man: Sins Rising oneshot is up ahead of the big Kindred storyline. Also the Spider-Man/Venom FCBD book is up for FOC.
- More Free Comic Book Summer titles including Dark Ark: Instinct #1 from AfterShock, Horizon Zero from Titan, and all the T-shirts, posters, prints, pins and the like.
- How did Empyre #0 do? #2 is up. Also Lords of Empyre Hulking #1, Empyre Avengers #1 and Empyre X-Men #1.
- Remember Hellions #1 and Wolverine #2 before the shutdown? The following issues are up for FOC, as well as New Mutants #11 and the conclusion of X-Men/Fantastic Four.
- Power Rangers: Ranger Slayer #1 is up for FOC, something Bleeding Cool has previously highlighted.
- Keenspot has the launch of Erik Klaus' Ninjas Vs Robots, as well as Chris Crosby and Shawn Remulac's Yang Gang #1.
