Would You Pay $295 To Learn Mark Waid's Words Of Wisdom On Writing?

Bleeding Cool has talked about the Comic Experience workshops before. Online seminars that people pay to participate in, remotely, with the footage available subsequently to the customer.

Their next subject is Mark Waid, working with moderator and Comic Experience chief Andy Schmidt who was once one of Waid's editors at Marvel.

The seminar will look at how Mark approaches his writing work, from the correct mindset to his goals as a storyteller and how he achieves them, as well as how he created his own career and the decisions he took, including his publishing company Thrillbent. There will also be a Q&A at the end…

This is a one-off, never-to-be-repeated event, which is probably why they are charging $295 each.

The event will be on Saturday, March 18th from 9am to 3pm ET with a short break. Topics include:

How to turn a story into a series
How to craft a proposal
How to pitch to publishers
Managing a career in comics.
How Mark approaches plotting, character work, and script writing.
