Planet Comicon Kansas City to Have 4 Dark Nights: Metal Exclusive Variant Covers

Planet Comicon Kansas City, which will be taking place from February 16th through the 18th in Kansas City, will have a meet-and-greet available with Dark Nights: Metal creators Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, and Jonathan Glapion. They will be in the afternoons of the Friday 16th and Saturday the 17th, and will be meeting the people who purchase a VIP meet-and-greet package for the convention.

In addition, there will be four Planet Comicon exclusives for Dark Nights: Metal #5. The first three will be varying wrap around covers of the now-iconic Greg Capullo-drawn scene from Dark Nights: Metal #1 where Barbatos and the Nightmare Batmen first arrive to confront the Justice League.  The fourth cover is a very rare Shadow variant cover with the Metal logo. All will also be stamped with the Planet Comicon ensignia. These will also be discounted for people who purchase the VIP meet-and-greet package.

Cover A will be limited to 1250 copies. Cover B will have 1000 copies. Cover C will have 500 copies available. Cover D will only have 250 copies available. They will be available in the Planet Comicon KC Merch Booth (Booth #1215) and Planet Comicon KC Dk Nights Metal sales booth (Booth #319) across from the booth where Snyder, Capullo, and Glapion will be located.

The prices will be $17 for Cover A, $33 for Cover B, and $110 for the full A-C set (Cover C will only be available in this bundle purchase). Cover D will be $320. The set will be $88 for people with the VIP meet-and-greet package, and Cover D will be $275 for said VIP package purchasers. Sales tax is included on all above prices.

More information is available at the Planet Comicon Kansas City website. Once again, the convention will be taking place February 16th through the 18th in Kansas City, with Snyder, Capullo, and Glapion being available for a meet-and-greet on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
