At Some Point They Will Turn Off Marvel's Kindle Price Crash And You Will Regret Not Buying Whatever It Is You Haven't Bought Yet
So what is going on with the current Amazon Marvel Kindle deals, knocking the prices of collections to rock bottom? 75, 80, 85, 90, 95% off?
One theory is that it's related to their recent buy a print graphic novel and get a digital comic for free offer. Others that it is a genuine deal – but one that Marvel seem uninterested in promoting. Others that someone somewhere pressed the wrong button then went on holiday. Or someone somewhere was fired and left a parting gift.
And yes, if you order on Kindle you can read on ComiXology.
The deals continue to be astonishing as Marvel seem to be liquidating an unliquidatable product, a digital product they cannot run out of, but on ethat is also filling a marketplace at a rock bottom price.
The complete Age of Apocalypse? A cent a page. The Jurgens Thor run, plus Disassembled? $.41/issue.
Even brand news titles are similarly discounted, undercutting bricks and mortar considerably Why buy a brand new trade out this week for $20 when you can get it digitally for $2?
One also may ask – why are none of the major comics websites that take Marvel advertising even reflecting that this industry-warping event is happening?

The Vision. The Clone Saga. New Avengers by Bendis. All of those fancy new Epic collections. Squirrel Girl! Every Deadpool thing under the sun. Miracleman. All the Hickman FF and Avengers. The Morrison X-Men. The Davis Excalibur. Soup to nuts, prices have been slashed.

Deliberate or not, and some point this will stop. Retailers will be outraged. Creators will kick off realising how little royalties will be paid out at these prices. Someone will decide that they are destroying any future market for these books ar a more reasonable price.

Oh and there's one other thing that's cheap right now.
All the talk about people boycotting Marvel Comics…
