Looks like this was the gameplan for quite some time. Bleeding Cool reported recently on the Dynamite aquisition and Glee-like cover for The Phantom.

Well, it looks like The Defenders Of The Earth are back together again. Dynamite have the rights to  Flash Gordon, Mandrake the Magician and The Phantom. And we will soon be seeing all three  King Features characters in one comic again for the first time since the Marvel title in the eighties…
