Free Comics For Hospitals

Jamie Smart, popular British comic creator for the Beano and the Dandy, especially known for reinventing Desperate Dan, has been running a crowdfunding campaign to give comics away to kids in hospital. And raising funds to get copies of his Moose Kid Comics anthology to 50 hospitals across the UK.

Aiming for £2000 to get the first two issues distributed, he smashed through £5000 which will mean plenty more issues to be created, printed and distributed through 2016.

And the Christmas digital edition created to promote the fundraiser will now be printed and sent to hospitals for next Christmas.
