Journeyman Man To Make Brian Michael Bendis And Michael Avon Oeming's Powers An FX TV Series?

Both Premium Hollywood and Aint It Cool has announced that creator of Journeyman, Kevin Falls, has written the pilot script to Powers, based on the Bendis/Oeming comic (though, naturally, they both forget the Oeming bit) and it is in the hands of FX executives. Michael Dinner is slated to direct the project.

Powers is a creator owned comic book about an ex-superhero working as a police detective, dealing with a number of super-crimes, that slowly reveals a much greater conspiracy (and monkey sex).

Originally published by Image Comics, it moved to Marvel Comics' Icon imprint a few years ago.
