Lying In The Gutters – 14th December
This was the week that;
- Dynamite paid off Dabel debt.
- Scott Kurtz and Neal Adams teaming up for PVP with video.
- Valerie D'Orazio writes Punisher MAX. Oh yes she does! And Katee Sackhoff is writing her own comic, Versus.
- The industry creating its own accidental mailing list courtesy of a Paul Jenkins hack.
- Ape Entertainment licensing Shrek and Penguins Of Madagascar.
- I saw Avatar and talked about it a lot. So did other people.
- Brian Blessed and Alan Cumming helped out charity.
- We looked at a line of gambling games licensed from DC Comics.
- Time Magazine named Ultimates the best comic of the decade and I'm afraid I took the piss. I also took the piss over Borders closing.
- The family of Frank Frazetta star in their own reality TV show it seems.
- A Bendis Hater became a Bendis Lover
- We showed off some London Underground superhero art and some from the British TV Comedy Awards too.
- Earth One as Ultimate DC
- A Lady Gaga parody comic gets major fashion store placements.
- Popeye hits Google, exclusive clip of The Misfits interviewed, Angoulême reveal their selection of the year, Mark Millar got profiled, the LA Times discovered that comics were for kids after all, and also thought Greek Street was the tops, monks were caught recruiting with cosplay and DC released stuff.
Also Eve was in her school Christmas play, dressed in an Hawaiian costume made out of plastic bags, while the continent of America was represented by singing cowboys.
So a traditional nativity then.
