Monday Runaround – A Real Life Fantastic Four. Ish.
MuseumWatch: The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago is displaying the work of four young cartoonists, Jeffrey Brown, Lilli Carré, Paul Hornschemeier, and Anders Nilsen. The exhibit is called New Chicago Comics and it runs until the end of the month.

Captain America Man Raising Awareness for Homeless Vets
28-year-old Allen Mullins has been on a year-long journey now walking across the country to raise awareness for homeless veterans and provide them aid.

I'm now the regular cover artist on DC Comics' Zatanna… I have several Superman covers to do, including Action Comics #900… I'm doing a cover for Imagine FX as we speak/type…. designing more statues for Sideshow Collectibles… I'm also writing a drawing a short story for DC Comics; trying to get back into doing interiors.
The clip introduces a crime-fighting quartet known as the New York Initiative, a group of four Brooklyn-based vigilantes who live and kick bad-guy ass together. The group — kind of like a real-life Fantastic Four but, you know, without the ability to spontaneously burst into flames or stretch like plastic — includes one butt-kicking female and a tatted-out, muscle-bound guy who goes by the handle "Lucid" and whiles away his days taking bow-and-arrow target practice on his roof.

I'm working on two series for MTV Geek's online comics initiative, including a book I did with the amazingly talented Kody Chamberlain called PUNKS that's sort of an abusrdist joke book, and then I have a historical noir about the formation of Los Angeles called HELLTOWN with the brilliant Steve Bryant.
Here's the announcement I hope you've been waiting for. I am co-writing THE GRIM GHOST with screenwriter Stephen Susco (The Grudge). Although it was not reflected in the PREVIEWS solicitation, our partnership starts with the first issue. If I read the solicitation correctly, that first issue will be on sale in late March.
