Monday Trending Topics: Pajama Party Comics

Pajamas and Spider-Man were the major items of interest today, with various topics related to Thor and Superman waiting in the wings. DC may have missed a golden opportunity for marketing Sandman pajamas back in the 90s, but you have to admit that comics make much easier bedtime reading than they used to, now that most stuff gets collected. Not omnibus editions, though. Just too heavy.

Pajamas To Give You Marvel Women Physiques

So we know that the female physiques commonly sported by Marvel superheroines are nigh-on impossible to acheive by anyone who wasn't bitten by a radioactive Size Zero supermodel and some silicone injections on top. But that's okay, lucky ladies, these official Marvel merchandise solves that problem. With a design that takes inches (and a couple of ribs) off each side, squeezing that waist in and emphasising breast size, all with a few lines of printed ink!

So, the New York Post may have, as ever, with Marvel's full co-operation and indeed instigation, have spoiled the plot of upcoming issues of Ultimate Spider-Man, but we're going to try and be a bit more careful. Such as me typing all this text up front to keep it off the front page of Bleeding Cool. Even if that title is a bit of a giveaway. But what are you going to do?

So, Anyway…

I'm thinking of getting this made up as a T-shirt. Possibly for San Diego Comic Con.

Justice League: Chaos – Dwayne McDuffie's Last Work

At recent memorial event for the writer Dwayne McDuffie, Bruce Timm announced that McDuffie had written a script for a DC direct to DVD/Blu-Ray project currently in production. Tentatively titled Justice League: Chaos it is intended to be released next year.

So, now that I see they're listing a plot premise for The Man of Steel, I'm inclined to believe they've got it right.
